1 Product InformationETHAFOAM 600 Polyethylene pcf ( kg/m3) Maximum psi (69 kPa) ColorNaturalETHAFOAMETHAFOAM 600 polyethylene foam(same as ETHAFOAM HS-600) is astrong, resilient, high-density pcf ( ), closed-cell foam. It is ideally suited asa component material in products requiring ashock absorbing, vibration dampening, insu-lating, barrier and/or buoyancy component,and as a material for cushioning componentsin packaging applications for loadings up psi (69 kPa). ETHAFOAM 600 has outstanding dimen-sional stability and recovery characteristicsthat provide optimal cushioning protectionagainst repeated impacts.

2 It is ideal for cushion packaging and is used in many applications, including computer, automotive,construction and recreation. To achieve optimum performance, Dow recommendsthat qualified packaging engineers design thetotal packaging FeaturesETHAFOAM 600 polyethylene foam is adurable, lightweight, flexible, solid extrudedproduct. As the properties listed on thereversesuggest, ETHAFOAM 600 offers excellentstrength, resistance to creep under load,vibration and shock absorbency,and waterresistance 600 is produced with Dow spatented RapidReleasemanufacturingprocess.

3 RapidReleasetechnology delivers ahigher Quality Product with improved dimensional stability and safety. This processtechnology incorporates a patented CFC- andHCFC-free blowing agent system and anaccelerated curing system that reduces residualblowing agents in ETHAFOAM products totrace amounts. ETHAFOAM 600 meets the requirementsof the Clean Air Act Amendments. It is easily fabricated, impervious to mostchemicals, non-abrasive and performs con-sistently over a wide range of 600 is also reusable and completely recyclable because it is made of non-crosslinked 600 polyethylene foam hassuccessfully passed FMVSS 302 flammabilitytesting, conducted according to the of Federal Regulations, CFR 49.
