Overview of PDP (T) The PDP is a structured Programme which aims to develop early childhood professionals with the potential to take on larger job roles in their organization.

2 It supports career aspirations of pre-school educators with Professional Development opportunities and a structured career progression pathway. As part of the PDP (T), participants commit themselves to a minimum of 180 hours of Professional Development over three years. They also commit to completing at least one of the following Programme milestones in each year of PDP: a. One Compulsory Module in the first year of PDP b. At least one Modular course in either Year 1, 2 or 3 c. At least one Project in either Year 1,2 or 3 The remaining PDP hours could be completed through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. The cash awards for the PDP (T) is $3,000, $4,000 and $5,000 in Year 1, 2 and 3 respectively. It is important that participants complete the stipulated Programme milestones and remain employed in their nominating organisations during the course of the PDP and for at least six months after the end of each PDP year, in order to receive the cash award.

3 A 3-year Individual Professional Development Plan is included in Annex A. If it is useful, participants could choose to use it to plan the different Professional Development sessions and keep track of the hours completed and whether the Programme milestones have been met. PDP Compulsory Module: Developing the Leader in Me Please remember: To complete the PDP Compulsory Module Developing the Leader in Me in Year 1. The Course Code is LMADTLM16E in Upon participant's successful completion of the compulsory module in Year 1, ECDA will take note that this particular Programme milestone has been met.
