1 Program Level Registration Guide Red Cross Swim Kids Placement in Red Cross Swim programs depends on many variables including age, skill proficiency, previous experience and readiness. The following chart is a Guide only. Red Cross Swim Kids has options for swimmers with disabilities. Please check with your facility. Participant requirement to Level In this Level register Swimmers develop front and back float, At least 5 years of age, no Red Cross Swim front and back glide, flutter kick (assisted), previous swimming Kids 1 shallow water entries and exits, and swim experience required 5 metres. At least 5 years of age, Swimmers learn front and back glide with Red Cross Swim successful completion of the flutter kick, develop front swim, complete Kids 2 skills in Red Cross Swim Kids deep-water activities (assisted) and swim 1 10 metres continuously.
