PROSPECTUS FOR admission INTO MBBS AND BDS COURSES UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA SEATS IN PRIVATE UN AIDED NON MINORITY, MINORITY MEDICAL AND NON-MINORITY DENTAL COLLEGES AND ARMY DENTAL COLLEGE IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018-19 A. Regulations: i) The following are the Regulations for admission of students into Management Quota (Category -B and Category -C (NRI) ) MBBS / BDS Courses in Private Un Aided Non Minority, Minority Medical and Non - Minority Dental Colleges and Army Dental College in the state of Telangana for the year 2018-19.

4 Ii) The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG - 2018 exam by securing marks of cut off score and above. iii) NEET UG - 2018 merit ranks shall be the basis for the selection into MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations. iv) Total number of seats under Management quota expected for the academic year 2018-19 for Medical / Dental Courses in Private Medical Dental Colleges and Army Dental College is given in the Annexure-I. v) Tuition Fee structure is as fixed by the State Government. vi) In case any new MBBS/BDS seats are permitted by MCI/DCI in private Medical and Dental colleges affiliated to the University for the Academic Year 2018-19, those seats also will be filled up. NO FURTHER NOTIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED.

5 Vii) Seats in Army Dental College are reserved for Army wards as per AWES Regulations. viii) Seats in Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim Minority Candidates only. In case Muslim Minority Candidates are not available the seats may be filled up with Non-Minority students up to maximum of 30% during 2nd Phase of counseling. B. Eligibility: i. Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into Management quota seats Category -B and C (NRI) for UG Medical and Dental Courses and as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India / KNR University of Health Sciences. ii) The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.

6 OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects. BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects. OC PH candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects. BDS courses and they fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these regulations as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India guidelines. iii) Candidates should have qualified at NEET UG - 2018 iv) The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET UG-2018conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the year 2018-19. MBBS and BDS Category Qualifying criteria Cut off score (out of 720) Remarks General category 50% percentile 119 Candidates scoring equal or more than this cut off score have been declared as qualified SC / ST/ BC 40% percentile 96 ST / SC / BC Candidates scoring equal or more than this cut off score have been declared as qualified Persons with disability 45% percentile 107 OC PH Candidates scoring equal or more than this cut off score have been declared as qualified v) Lower percentage / percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/PH is only for eligibility purpose and will not be applicable for reservation as there are no reservation quotas for these categories.

7 Viii) Foreign Students / NRI candidates are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS Courses under Management Quota Category C Seats. Candidates should specifically put the option for NRI Category in the on-line application to be considered for NRI / C-Category. ix) *Candidates who have already applied for Convenor Quota Seats in response to this University earlier notification are also eligible for the management quota seats, but they have to apply afresh. x) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the Telangana State should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of admission into the college.

8 Xi) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside INDIA should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of admission into the college. xii) The probable number of seats under management quota is given in the Annexure appended herewith, for information. C. AGE: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2018.

9 The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2018 need not attend the counseling. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2002 are not eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses. D. NRI Quota eligibility : i) admission to NRI seats will be made on the basis of NEET- 2018 merit ranks of eligible candidates who have applied on-line for NRI seats. ii) NRI Financially supporting the candidate must be a Blood relative such as Father/Mother/Brother/Sister/Uncle/Aunt only and should submit a declaration to that effect. iii) Candidate opting for NRI seat must furnish the photocopies of following supporting documents. 1 NRI status certificate of the financial supporter issued by embassy of respective country under their seal. 2) Copy of NRI Bank account pass book of the financial supporter.

10 3) Copy of Pass port of NRI financial supporter. Note: a) If, enough number of NRI candidates are not available, the left over seats of NRI Category may be filled-up with other candidates during the second phase of counseling. b) If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any relevant information regarding this matter, such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission and in case already admitted, the admission will be cancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the University. E. Counselling for allotment of Seats: 1. The seats shall be filled through counseling by the Committee for Admissions as per merit from the candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2018 exam and applied in response to notification by KNR UHS for Management quota seats ( B&C Categories).
