The organisation has over 140,000 members and 404,000 students throughout careers, providing services through a network of 83 offices and active centres. Foundations in AccountancyEntry RequirementsAvailable at: Full Time or Part TimeFoundations in Accountancy consist of a suite of awards, including certificates, diplomas and a revised Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification. These flexible awards focus on the core skills of financial accounting and management accounting; and the wider role of the accountant in business at higher levels.
7 The range of awards means employers can pick the level of qualification which most appropriately meets their business needs. In addition, it provides students with flexible entry points with certification awarded at each level, allowing students to tailor the awards, making them an attractive and relevant choice for employers. Applicants should normally be at least 16 years of age. No formal academic qualifications are necessary to register, though grade 12 graduates with 6 points in English and Mathematics are encouraged to study this programme . The CIMA programme has a robust assessment method that equip students with real life skills and competencies that employers need which are woven into the syllabus. The syllabus is strong on core accounting skill and also includes sustainability, integrated reporting and finance function transformation.
8 ZCAS offers all the levels of the examinations of the chartered Institute of Management accountants (CIMA), and the Certificate in Business Accounting (CBA) course to school leavers. Successful completion of this course offers automatic entry into the CIMA operational Level, Managerial and susequently Strategic assessments are computer based and in the case of objective tests are available on demand. CIMA ProfessionalEntry Requirements CBA - No formal academic qualifications are necessary to register, though grade 12 graduates with 6 points are encouraged to study this programme . 5 ZCASPROFESSIONALZICA Accountancy ProgrammeAvailable at: Full Time or Part Time- Diploma in Accountancy (DA). Entry Requirements five O level Diploma in Accounting programme will have two levels withseven (7) modules or papers in level one and five (5) modules or papers in level two.
9 Graduates of DA will be exempted from level 1 (knowledge level) of CA plus two papers in level 1 (application level) of CA. - chartered Accountant (CA) Zambia. five O level merits, including English and CA Zambia programme will have three levels, with 6 modules at knowledge level, 5 modules at application level and 3 compulsory subjects plus 2 optional subjects from a choice of three routes, Public Practice, Business, and Public Sector at Advisory level. Upon completion of the level 6 diploma in Business Management, students have a choice of either proceeding with the postgraduate diploma or going into the final year of the Business Studies degree with the University of Greenwich.
