1 Public Access Water-Bodies for Boating The Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) owns parks and other land parcels that adjoin water bodies . The Public may use the following properties to Access the water from these locations for launching small water craft such as canoes, kayaks, and trailered boats, where ramps are provided. Public use of HRM parks and properties is restricted from 10pm to 5am unless otherwise posted.
