1 PUBLIC notice : FUNDING OPPORTUNITY The riverside county economic development agency (EDA)/Workforce development Board (WDB) & the Workforce development Center (WDC) announce Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Workforce Innovation and OPPORTUNITY Act (WIOA) Year-Round Youth Program, funded by the Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration and the State of California Employment development Department Employment Training Division. riverside county economic development agency (EDA) and the WDB are accepting proposals from agencies to oversee and implement the WIOA youth program services at the Youth OPPORTUNITY Centers (YOC).

2 The purpose of this RFP is to solicit Lead Agencies to operate one or more of the existing YOC sites located in Lake Elsinore, Perris, Hemet, Indio, Moreno Valley and Rubidoux to continue the provision of year-round, innovative and comprehensive, youth education and training services. In accordance with the WIOA ACT (1/2014), employment and training opportunities will be developed for youth ages 16-24 years old. The procurement term will be valid for a period of three years, from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2019. The program period will be one year, from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

3 Proposals are being sought from qualified private for-profit firms, not for-profit organizations, foundations and PUBLIC agencies that meet the qualifications as they are stated in the RFP.
