Rhythmic Bingo for the Music Class purpose : Practice of . Playing suggestion: To play: 1. Hand out laminated bingo cards with 9 x 4 beat rhythmic patterns on it and a whiteboard marker or 9 tokens to each student. 2. Teacher or a student claps a rhythm from the master sheet (which is then crossed off). 3. Students clap it back (no rhythm names). 4. Students mark (with whiteboard marker or playing token) the rhythm off if on their sheet. 5. Class clap rhythm again with rhythm names as teacher or student writes on the board to check. To win BINGO a student must have any three across, down, or diagonally or for the longer version all the rhythms - like regular BINGO. Examples of other types of Music Bingo 1. Rhythm bingo. Rhythm or rhythmic pattern recognition. 2. Melody bingo. Melodic pattern recognition. 3.
