2 Aff irmed preparedness for future mega events in Qatar as the company shuttled more than passengers in more than 190,000 bus service hours, at a record number of 4,000 buses across all of its services for FIFA Arab Cup 2021, public transport and all other services provided in Qatar. On the company performance, Mowasalat CEO Fahad al-Qahtani said: Mowasalat employed and trained thousands of drivers, mechanics, and professional bus operations staff , and bought an entire fleet of 3000 clean diesel and electric buses to cater for all shuttle needs during the matches.

3 Page 2 The Saudi-led coalition yesterday launched a large-scale assault on Yemen after missiles fired by Houthi rebels killed two people in the kingdom. The Houthis warned Yemen s oil-rich northern neighbour of a painful response if the coalition does not stop its aggression against the conflict-riven country. The latest violence came overnight when two people - one Saudi and the other Yemeni - were killed in the projectile attack on Jazan. Six Saudis and a Bangladeshi national were also wounded. Images from the Saudi Press Agency purportedly of the aftermath of the attack showed a large crater in the ground and destroyed vehicles.
