6 Weather observer ADF Australian Defence Force. 1. Aerodrome A defined area on land or water (including any buildings, installations and equipment) intended to be used either wholly or in part for the arrival, departure and surface movement of aircraft. Aerodrome Weather A person who, has been trained and certified as competent to make observer (AWO) meteorological observations. Aerodrome Meteorological This means the evaluation of one or more meteorological elements for use Observations in an Aerodrome meteorological report.
