The items referenced have met the approval of ConnDOT personnel in one of the following ways: They have been approved by the Research Liaison Committee.

2 They have been used successfully since before the establishment of a formal approval process. They currently satisfy Department of Transportation specifications. It should be understood that this document is open to refinement and will be under close scrutiny to ensure that the information contained herein is complete and accurate. Over the years, many items will be added and deleted. Many products that may be used in ConnDOT will not be represented in this document because they conform to a generic specification, and the approval procedure is in accordance with the standard specifications.
