2 This document is designed to help you: Transition from using the Cloud9 Silverlight format to the browser-based HTML5 format Learn the newest features available in HTML5 In HTML5 , you ll be able to perform your daily functions as you do in Silverlight. You may need to access Silverlight from time-to-time to customize your office s setups and configurations. The content of the Silverlight and HTML5 windows are similar; however, HTML5 is menu and button-driven more so that Silverlight. Once you become familiar with the look and functionality of HTML5 , you ll discover the consistent menus and buttons throughout HTML5 . HTML5 Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 4 Silverlight HTML5 Main Window HTML5 Menu Bar The Menu Bar contains six menus that provide access to the Cloud9 HTML5 functions. 3 HTML5 Buttons Quick access buttons located in the upper right-hand corner of the HTML5 screen. Time Clock Chat Full Screen Lock Screen Logout Close All button located in the lower left-hand corner. Silverlight: Close All access HTML5 Options Menu When a patient s data is displayed on a window, HTML5 has a dropdown arrow next to the patient s name and id. Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 7 When the user selects the dropdown arrow, the Options Menu displays. All the listed options provide access to the patient s data. HTML5 Schedule Highlighted Feature Description Schedule Views display in dropdown list If an employee is set up in Silverlight with an App preference to Show Schedule Views in Dropdown , the schedule view will Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 8 Highlighted Feature Description display the location schedules in a dropdown list instead of separate tabs across the top of the schedule.

4 Silverlight Setup to display schedule view for each location in a dropdown list. For more details, see Access to Location Schedules. Displays a patient s age in years and months On the schedule, the patient s age displays in years and months on the patient s appointment. Show Light Bar If an employee is set up in Silverlight with an App Preference to Show Light Bar , the Show Light Bar displays in HTML5 . Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 9 Highlighted Feature Description Silverlight Setup to display Light Bar Silverlight Schedule Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 10 Access to Location Schedules The Schedule window provides you with access to the schedules for each offices locations. Depending on how the schedule is set up in Silverlight, you can access location schedules via tabs or from a dropdown list.

5 Platform Screenshot HTML5 Access: The dropdown list displays to select schedules for specific locations. Silverlight Setup: If an employee is set up in Silverlight with an App preference to Show Schedule Views in Dropdown , the schedule view displays the location schedules in a dropdown list instead of separate tabs across the top of the schedule. Note: The set up will apply to both Silverlight and HTML5 . Note: If the checkbox is not checked, then the location schedules options display as tabs, instead of in a dropdown list: Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 11 Platform Screenshot Clipboard/Toolbar In HTML5 , the Clipboard Toolbar functionality operates the same way as it does in Silverlight. However, its appearance is different. Platform Screenshot HTML5 : Buttons: Search Patient Appts Practice Reminders Notes No Shows Week Print Silverlight: Appointment Recap The appointment recap features function the same in HTML5 and Silverlight; however, the features display in different locations on the HTML5 and Silverlight windows.

HTML5 Edit Patient Window The Edit Patient window in HTML5 and Silverlight share the same functionalities. In HTML5 , users can designate a referral as a person or company. Highlighted Feature Description P/C column on Referrals/ Professionals tab The new P/C column displays the type of referral; P for person and C for company. Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 13 Highlighted Feature Description Silverlight: Users add companies directly from the Edit Patient window and select companies as patient referrals. In Silverlight, if users want to identify a company, like Google, Billboard, or Facebook, as a patient referral, they set up the company as a person.

7 View Documents from History tab From the History tab located in Edit Patient, users can click View to see a patient s corresponding document Tracking Tab, Patient Status The Patient Status dropdown displays the statues in the appropriate hierarchy. Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 14 Highlighted Feature Description Relationships tab expands and collapses related persons Edit Patient-Relationships displays a detailed view option for each Related Person. The tab defaults to open with details expanded for the first Related Person and a + next to the other Related Persons. Silverlight Edit Patient Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 15 HTML5 Treatment Card The HTML5 Treatment Card works the same as it does in Silverlight; however, its look is updated with new buttons. Buttons: New Entry Recall Send Message Refresh Save Save and Close Close Highlighted Feature Description Send email or text message from the Treatment Card The Send Message button on the Treatment Card enables users to send an email or text message directly from the Treatment Card.

8 Platform Screenshot HTML5 Silverlight Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 16 Highlighted Feature Description Border/whitespace The border on the left-hand margin of the treatment card provides more whitespace so the text doesn t run up against the window border. Delete desired listed treatment from listed Chart Items From the Chart Items listed at the bottom of the Treatment Card, select Delete next to the desired listed treatment. Silverlight Treatment Card Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 17 HTML5 Tooth Chart Buttons in the upper right-hand corner and the Delete button in the lower right-hard corner provide Quick access to common functions related to managing patients tooth charts. Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 18 Highlighted Feature Description Access Tooth Chart from the Treatment Card Click Tooth Chart on the Treatment Card to easily access the patient s tooth chart. Silverlight Charting (Tooth Chart) Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 19 HTML5 Ledger The HTML5 Ledger works the same as it does in Silverlight; however, its look is updated with new buttons. Reload Post Charge Post a Payment Post a Family Payment Correction Options Print - Close Highlighted Feature Description Ledger Tabs Subscriber name(s) display on ledger tabs. Re-print payment receipt Re-print a payment receipt from the Ledger by right-clicking the open cell next to the transaction.

10 Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 20 Highlighted Feature Description Net Payments field displays across the bottom of the HTML5 patient ledger: Silverlight: The Net Payment field is not available. Users must manually calculate a new payments total. Post a Payment The Print Receipt option is available when posting a payment. Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 21 Highlighted Feature Description Post Charges The Post Charges feature opens in a window instead of a dialog box. Silverlight Patient Ledger Introduction to HTML5 Revised April 2018 22 HTML5 Reports The reports available in Silverlight are also available in HTML5 . The layout of the report windows is similar in both HTML5 and Silverlight. Once a report is selected, the Report Viewer displays with the selected report s parameters.
