No.: IL917002EN Effective: March 2015 Quick Reference License Manager Software Network Licenses and Set-up Use this Quick Reference for any of the cyme , CYMCAP, CYMGRD or CYMTCC applications. On the server 1. Download and install the latest cyme License Manager application on your server, from this link: (You may have to register on the web site) 2. Launch the cyme License Manager : Go to Start > All Programs > cyme > cyme License Manager 3. Go to the Registration/Admin. tab. a. Enter the registration number we sent you by email and click the Register button. b. If you get a successful message, proceed to step #4. c. Go to the Licenses tab. You should see the names of the modules available with your License listed in the dialog box. Click the Refresh button if you don t. Pub. Download and install the engineering Software from the following link: (You may have to register on the web site) 2. Try to launch the Software . If you get an error message: a. Click on the Configuration button. This will open the cyme License Manager program. If the Configuration button is disabled, open your Licenses Manager manually via the Windows Start menu.

3 B. Click on the Registration / Admin tab. c. Check the three Client options and enter the IP Address or Hostname of your company Licenses server (the computer under which the registration number was registered). d. Click the Save button, then the Refresh button. e. Go to the Licenses tab. You should see the available modules of your licenses in the list. It might take up to 2 minutes for the connection between the server and your computer to synchronize. You can click the Refresh button every 15 seconds until you see the modules appear in the list. f. If the list does not populate, you probably have the wrong IP address for the server or the server is not configured correctly. Click the Access to Remote License Managers tab. 3. Check the three options. 4. Enter the IP Address of your server in the Specify Search Parameters field. 5. Click the Submit button to save your changes. 6. Click on this link: http://localhost:1947/_int_ You should see the names of the modules available with your License listed in the dialog box. a.
