Failure to do so may result in the rejection of your visa request: 1- Contact your sponsor (s) ( business associates, friends or relatives in Iran) and ask that they request a visa for you through our Foreign Ministry in Tehran. Journalists must contact our Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. Steps 2, 3, and 4 do not apply to journalists.

2 Tourists must apply through their tour operator or travel agency. 2- Once the Foreign Ministry approves your request, they will send us a visa authorization number. 3- Your contacts in Iran will also be informed of this authorization number. 4- Once you have obtained the authorization number, you can send us your passport, the visa Application Form, the visa fee, and pertinent shipping fee. Your passport must be valid for at least six months. 5- One professionally printed passport photo (The photo must be recent and taken within the last six months, 2x2 inches in size with white background; head must be directly facing the camera). Do not send photocopied pictures. Muslim female applicants of age nine and above must have their photo taken with Islamic head cover (hijab) and adhere to the Islamic dress code.

3 Please glue or staple the picture to the application form (Indicate your name on the back of the photo without pressing hard to leave an impression). 6- Journalists whose visas have been approved must fill out Form 104, submit one professional quality photo (in accordance with the above-mentioned criteria) plus their valid passport and pertinent visa and shipping fees (if applicable). Passports must be valid for at least six months. 7- For visa fees, Please refer to the attached form or our website. You can also contact our office. All fees must be submitted as a single money order or cashier check paid in dollars to the order of Embassy of Pakistan. The shipping fee for is $30; for outside $40. No prepaid envelope is accepted.

4 8- You must allow enough time for your request to be processed. We cannot be responsible for reservations, or tickets that are paid for in advance. 9- Expedited service is available only if you add $58 to the visa fee per each passport. This is in addition to the pertinent shipping fee. You must use a red magic marker to write Please Expedite legibly on the front and back of the carrier service envelope. This will make identifying your package among others easier. Expedited service, assuming all documents are properly submitted, will be processed as soon as possible. 10- visa fees are not refundable if visa is rejected. REV.
