7 Your RV complies withapplicable federal and state regulations and therequirements of ANSI , the nationally recognized Standard for RECREATIONAL VEHICLES - Installation ofPlumbing, Heating and Electrical Systems. TheRecreation vehicle Industry Association (RVIA)periodically inspects our production and assists inmaintaining strict compliance with installation and safetystandards for those systems. Similar periodic inspectionsof the systems are made by representatives of variousstates. You, the owner, must perform periodic inspectionsof the systems and provide a program of preventivemaintenance as described in the Owner s Manual andinstruction SERVICEWe recommend that warranty service be performed bythe authorized dealer from whom you purchased your RVbecause of the dealer s continued and personal interest inyour satisfaction. But if you are traveling or in the eventthat you move, service under the warranty will beperformed by any of our authorized dealers.
8 Wheneverpossible, make an appointment to avoid carry your Owner Registration Card, whichmust be presented to obtain warranty service. The card isproof of purchase and provides the date of retail sale,which is necessary to determine warrantability. If youcannot locate an authorized dealer, contact our ServiceDepartment at the address on the back of this PERIODThe warranty period shall be for 12 months and beginon the date the new RECREATIONAL vehicle is delivered to theretail purchaser, or the first in-service date, whichever IS COVEREDThe first retail purchaser, provided terms of thewarranty are IS COVEREDThe Manufacturer warrants to owners that anauthorized dealer or Service Center will make repairsmade necessary by defects in material or workmanshipduring the warranty period.
