Plastic food containers with numbers #1-7 (yogurt, frozen food trays, etc.) are acceptable. *OK to leave lids on plastic bottles*OK to flatten plastic bottlesMETALS Aluminum cans, aerosol cans (lids and tips removed), metal cans and lids, tin cans, aluminum foil and disposable aluminum pans free of food Waste .*OK to flatten cansCARTONSC artons for juice, soy milk, milk, broth, cream, egg substitutes (caps and straws removed).PAPER AND CARDBOARD Newspaper and inserts, magazines and catalogs, junk mail and envelopes, phone books, paper grocery bags, cereal and snack boxes, cardboard (flattened), clean pizza boxes (free of food and grease), loose shredded paper.*PLEASE flatten all cardboard boxesGLASS Glass refers to glass bottles and jars (any color).

8 You do not need to remove labels. Other types of glass such as drinking glasses, window panes, mirrors, and light bulbs can not be recycled due to the physical properties of the product. *OK to leave lids on bottles and jarsAPPLIANCES AND SCRAP METAL Discarded appliances must be metal ( hot water tanks, stoves, dryers, microwaves and any other household appliances). For refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners or dehumidifiers, the refrigerant/Freon must be removed prior to disposal and tagged by a certified TERIES Large lead-acid batteries ( from automobiles, tractors or lawn mowers) and small household EQUIPMENT AND MOBILE DEVICES Computer equipment (towers, keyboards, mice, cords, printers) and cell MOTOR OIL/ANTIFREEZE Using plastic gallon jugs, bring up to 10 gallons of used motor oil, antifreeze or cooking oil per visit.

9 Do not pour used oil or antifreeze directly in the containers. Oil must be free of contaminants. NO Waste If it grows, it goes for free! Grass, leaves, tree trimmings, Christmas trees and weeds. *NOT ACCEPTED: Stumps, root balls, sod, dirt, burlap wrap, metal caging, plastic bags and biodegradable/paper yard Waste bags. Stop in at scale house for further directions. Drop off materials according to signs. LATEX PAINT: DID YOU KNOW ? Did you know you can throw Latex Paint in the trash? Dry it up. Throw it out. Water-based paint is not hazardous and should be disposed of in the trash. To solidify latex paint: Air dry, use a drying agent such as cat litter, saw dust, plaster of paris, oil-dri or Waste paint hardeners. When your paint is dry, discard it with your regular trash. Leave the lid off so the Waste collector can see the paint is hardened.
