1 Page 1 of 5 Register with the Identity Protection+ Self-Service Portal 1. Follow these instructions to Register for the first time on Kellogg s Identity Protection+ (IP+) Self-Service Portal , which provides secure access to web-based applications such as KConnect, myHR, Success Factors, Salesforce, Office 365 and digital Concierge s password reset site. 2. Login to IP+ Self-Service Portal a. Launch a web browser using google Chrome or Windows Internet Explorer (version or a more recent version). b. Click this link or enter the URL in a web browser search window.
2 C. Select your preferred language from the drop-down box. d. Enter your Kellogg-issued network ID and click the Next button. e. If The user ID is not valid error message appears, contact the Global Service Desk for help. Page 2 of 5 f. Enter your Kellogg network password and press the Enter key or click the Next button. g. Optional: If you don t remember your password, click the Forgot your password? link and the Next button to reset it. You will need to answer security questions to validate your Identity , then follow prompts through the password reset steps.
3 Use the Password Reset User Guide available on the IP+ home page as needed. h. IP+ may send a one-time password (OTP) to your cell phone or your Kellogg s email address. If that happens, type it in the Enter OTP field and click the Login button. If you are not prompted to enter a OTP, continue to the next step. ** IMPORTANT: Do NOT check the Remember Me box if you are working on a publically shared computer, such as those found in hotels, internet cafes or public libraries. Only check this box if you are using a Kellogg-issued device.
4 Page 3 of 5 3. Select your preferred language. You may select the language in which the IP+ Portal page content and security-verification email messages appear. a. The My Profile page/Applications tab should open. If it does not, hover over the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen and click My Profile. b. From the My Profile page, click the Profile tab. c. Click to select from the Language Preference drop-down menu, then click the Save button. Page 4 of 5 4. Set up your security questions and answers. a. Hover over the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen and click My Profile.
5 B. From the My Profile page, click the AUTHENTICATORS tab. c. Click the red plus-sign button . d. Select the Knowledge-based authenticator option from the menu. Note: The other authenticators on this menu ( Entrust Soft Token, Hardware Token, google authenticator ) are not activated at this time. If you select an inactive authenticator , it will appear on the Authenticators screen and the State field will indicate it is activating, but will not fully activate . If you select Entrust Soft Token or google authenticator , you will receive an email prompt to download software, but doing so will not activate those authenticators.
6 4a Page 5 of 5 e. Type an answer next to a minimum of five security questions. f. Select unique answers that you will be able to remember easily and meet the Q&A requirements. As each requirement is met, the red circle next to it turns to a green check-mark . g. Once you have met all of the requirements, click the SAVE button. 5. Log out. a. Click the three dots on the top-right corner and click Logout from the pop-up menu to exit the IP+ Self-Service Portal .
