Unlike some brands, Interpath 's Aerosol Barrier Tips do not contain a cellulose gum additive. Other brand tips using this gum have a larger ( m) pore size and therefore offer greater risk of contamination as aerosol particles can pass through this pore size.

6 Interpath 's Aerosol Barrier Tips contain no PCR inhibitors and are tested using both human and bacterial templates. They are quality tested and contain less than 5 x 10 11 g of human or bacterial DNA, less than x 10 11 g RNase and less than x 10 11 g dnase .
