To provide an explanation and guidance for which projects on the THFN are affected by the new policy;. To provide vertical clearance criteria for applicable projects on the THFN.

This includes the following: The policy is effective for applicable bridge construction and reconstruction projects on the THFN, Let on September 1, 2020 or later, Designation of a Roadway as being on the latest THFN map maintained by the Transportation Planning and Programming Division (TP&P), The specific vertical clearance Design criteria: ' for applicable bridge structures.
