1 ROTARY SCREEN THICKENER (RST) v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v The Andritz ROTARY SCREEN THICKENER (RST) (constructed entirely of 316L stainless steel) consists of a fully enclosed rotating cylinder containing helical screw mechanisms or flighting to increase thickening. The Andritz RST comes with variable dewatering zones allowing for the ability to fine-tune the fabric openings to suit the application demands. The rotating cylinder is supported with externally mounted bearings and is powered by an AC motor and VFD so rotating speed can be adjusted for various throughputs on a specific size unit.
