To secure these ends, the Supreme Court of Ohio adopts the following RULES of SUPERINTENDENCE for the COURTS of Ohio to serve the public interest that mandates prompt disposition of all causes, at all times, in all COURTS of this state. RULE 1. Applicability; Authority; Citation. (A) Applicability. Except where otherwise provided, these RULES of SUPERINTENDENCE for the COURTS of Ohio are applicable to all COURTS of appeal, COURTS of common pleas, municipal COURTS , and county COURTS in this state.
