IF ANYTHING ISNOT CLEAR, PLEASE CONTACT US USING THE CONTACTDETAILS SET OUT Insurance What is it?This Insurance gives protection against the consequencesof a claim against you by someone who is injured, orwhose property is damaged, as a result of your negligencewhilst main purpose of the Scheme is to provide individualpersonal Insurance for both Coaches who work voluntarilyfor no payment and for Coaches who are paid by thecentre at which they Scheme is not intended to provide the insurancesneeded by a Recognised Teaching can use the Scheme ?You may apply to be insured only if you hold an RYAC oaching Award and are a Personal or Family Member ofthe RYA.

2 The Scheme also covers Examiners. If you are aJunior Member, you must take out Personal Membershipor be part of a Family type of coaching is covered by the Scheme ?You must be coaching or examining a course or trainingprogramme run by:a) The RYAb) An RYA Regional Committeec) An RYA Affiliated Clubd) An RYA Affiliated Class Associatione) An RYA Training CentreYou must hold a valid RYA qualification to coach at thelevel of that course or programme (including wherenecessary a valid First Aid Certificate) and be workingwithin the limitations of your can I coach?The Scheme will cover three areas:Area A:All Coaches who join the Scheme will be coveredfor coaching in the United Kingdom, on UK inlandwaters and UK coastal waters up to twelve B:This area consists of Area A and also the ChannelIslands and the Isle of Man, and up to 200 milesoffshore.
