sa7000 Super wide band base aerial systemThe sa7000 is an ultra-wide range externalreceiving aerial with a useable frequency coverageof 30 kHz to 2 GHz - short wave / VHF / aerial is designed for areas where space is aproblem or when an "unobtrusive" installation isessential. The sa7000 is a passive arrangementproviding two whip elements: a long element forshort wave up to 30 MHz and a second shorterloaded whip aerial for frequencies up to 2 GHz,the loading coils are tuned around 150 & 800 MHzto enhance performance of the VHF & UHFbands. The aerial is very compact being in total height. A single coaxial lead feedsboth whips in a weather proof enclosure which inturn bolts to a suitable supporting mast (notprovided).

2 Approximately 15m of terminatedcoaxial cable is supplied ready to plug in and go!The sa7000 is easy to assemble and use, aninstruction sheet is supplied with the aerial, "V"bolts and clamps are included but a small stubmast will be required for installation which shouldbe as high as possible and in clear space. Runthe coaxial cable to your listening location, thepath should not be important but avoid powercables, TV downleads and computers. Shouldyou need to remove the BNC plug make sure youhave a spare to re-fit, if you have difficulty inlocating a plug then another is obtainable for asmall charge. If you need to extend the cable, always use a good quality 50 OHM coaxialcable such as UR43 or UR76 (or qualityRG58/U) and low loss connectors.

3 If along lead is required (20m plus),consider replacing the entire run with aheavier duty low loss cable such asUR67 or frequency range:30kHz to 2 GHzImpedance:50 OHMWind endurance:50m per secondAcceptable support mast:30 - 60mm diameterTotal cable:15m of Quality RG58/Uwith BNC plugPower source:Passive (no power)AOR Ltd2-6-4 Misuji, Taito-ku, Tokyo 111-0055, : +81 3 3865 1695 Fax: +81 3 3865 (UK) Ltd - AOR Manufacturing Ltd4E East Mill, Bridgefoot, Belper, Derbys DE56 2UA, EnglandTel: +44 1773 880788 Fax: +44 1773 USA, S.
