Food Bank SH We are collecting again this weekend because there was some confusion because the of the way the July weekend dates fell. There has been a wonderful response to this and the Food Bank are most grateful for your support. SVP Meeting Mark Thompson, the head of SVP for Rochdale, Middleton and the surround-ing area, spoke to members of both churches in Sacred Heart Parish Centre on Tuesday evening. He outlined what the Society does to help the sick, housebound and needy of our society and how parish-ioners can begin to get involved.

We wish a safe and happy holiday to all our school children and staff. To those leaving Primary School to move to High School we wish you well and hope you will be very happy in your new environment. 9 Flowers next weekend at Sacred Heart church The flowers next weekend on the Sanctuary have been provided by Denis Fogarty for Mary s 5th Anniversary on the 24th July, how time passes. The pm Vigil Mass next Saturday 21st July will be offered for Mary. The flowers in front of the Sacred Heart Altar next weekend have been provided by the McEvoy Family to commemorate the Anniversaries of Jim and Derek McEvoy whose anniversaries both occur during the month of July. The flowers in front of the Holy Family Statue on the weekend of 28/29 July have been provide by Kath Broderick for her husband, Martin s, second anniversary which is on 31st July. May they all rest in peace. 10 Quarterly Payments of 13 due in July Sacred Heart Retired Group Summer Break After the outing to the Lavender Farm this coming Tuesday, the Retired Group will not meet again until September. Keep your eye on the newsletter for the actual date of starting back.
