6 Food Bank SH We are collecting again this weekend because there was some confusion because the of the way the July weekend dates fell. There has been a wonderful response to this and the Food Bank are most grateful for your support. SVP Meeting Mark Thompson, the head of SVP for Rochdale, Middleton and the surround-ing area, spoke to members of both churches in Sacred Heart Parish Centre on Tuesday evening. He outlined what the Society does to help the sick, housebound and needy of our society and how parish-ioners can begin to get involved.

We wish a safe and happy holiday to all our school children and staff. To those leaving Primary School to move to High School we wish you well and hope you will be very happy in your new environment.
