The flowers represent a mother and the child she s expecting. Parishioners are asked to pray for the family and the safe arrival of the unborn baby. The rose remains on the altar until presented to the family at baby s baptism. If you re expecting a baby, contact Teresa, 232-2863, to have a flower added to the bouquet. The group will rake and clean the church grounds and parking lot Saturday, May 5th, at 10 am (good weather we hope and pray) in preparation for planting. Larger ones work best, but we ll find a use for any we get. We need filled theme basket donations. Some theme ideas are car wash, summer fun, swimming, picnic, KU or K-State.
