DIRECTIONS. To start, see the email you were sent that includes the SafeSports link & access code. Then follow the directions below. That takes you to this page so you can set up your account.

3 Fill in the fields below and hit Next. Make sure the email address you use is the SAME one in your Cot Soccer Coach or Team manager account. Once you set up your account, you will receive an email so you can confirm your email address. Go to your email and confirm. Once you have done that, go back to the SafeSport sign-in page and input your email & password and click Sign In. Before you go on, determine whether you have the time to complete all 3 modules in this one sitting (about 90 minutes) or whether you want to do one module at a time. If it is the later, after you complete one module, you can sign out and sign back in another time to go on to the next module. Once signed in you will see your SafeSports Dashboard and the 3 modules you will be taking: 1) Mandatory Reporting: Understanding Your Responsibilities; 2) Sexual Misconduct Awareness Education; and 3) Emotional and Physical Misconduct.

4 To start the process, click on Mandatory Report; Understand Your Responsibilities module. After completing that 1st module you will receive a certificate and then it comes back to your SafeSports Dashboard. Then click on to the 2nd module and then the 3rd module. While in each module, it will take you page by page. Follow the directions on each page and then hit Next . At the beginning of each module, you will take a pre-test. Then follow each page of the module to learn and then, at the end of that module, successfully take another test. If you miss an answer, you will be given an opportunity to review your information and re- answer it until you answer all questions correctly. Once you complete all 3 modules, your dashboard will show you a Certificate button with each module. Ignore those. The one you want is the SafeSport Trained Certificate button at the bottom (see red circle below).
