Contains gas under pressure; may explode if heated. Causes skinirritation. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. May causedrowsiness or dizziness. May be fatal if swallowed and enters statementPreventionKeep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. - No smoking. Do not spray on an openflame or other ignition source. Wear eye/face protection. Pressurized container: Do not pierce orburn, even after use. Avoid breathing gas. Wash thoroughly after handling. Contaminated workclothing must not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear protective swallowed: Immediately call a poison center/doctor. Do NOT induce vomiting. If on skin: Washwith plenty of water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
Take offcontaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for severalminutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritationpersists: Get medical advice/attention. If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keepcomfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel / 9 Material name: LPS presolve (Aerosol)01420 Version #: 04 Revision date: 05-18-2017 Issue date: 09-15-2015 SDS USStorageProtect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 C/122 F. Store in awell-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. 4 Gas concentrations are in percent by First-aid measuresRemove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Oxygen orartificial respiration if needed. Do not use mouth-to-mouth method if victim inhaled the artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or otherproper respiratory medical device. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes whileremoving contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if irritation develops contactImmediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, remove contact medical attention if irritation develops and contactCall a physician or poison control center immediately.
Only induce vomiting at the instruction ofmedical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach content doesn't get into the effects. Symptoms may include stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and blurred of the skin. Rash. Symptoms of overexposure can include shortness of breath, drowsiness, headaches, confusion, decreased coordination, visual disturbances and vomiting, andare reversible if exposure is importantsymptoms/effects, acute anddelayedProvide general supportive measures and treat symptomatically. In case of shortness of breath, give oxygen. Keep victim under observation. Symptoms may be of immediatemedical attention and specialtreatment neededIn the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the labelwhere possible).
Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and takeprecautions to protect information5. Fire-fighting measuresAlcohol resistant foam. Water fog. Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2).Suitable extinguishing mediaDo not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the extinguishingmediaContents under pressure. Pressurized container may explode when exposed to heat or hazards arising fromthe chemicalFirefighters must use standard protective equipment including flame retardant coat, helmet withface shield, gloves, rubber boots, and in enclosed spaces, SCBA. Structural firefighters protectiveclothing will only provide limited protective equipmentand precautions for firefightersIf tank, rail car or tank truck is involved in a fire, ISOLATE for 800 meters (1/2 mile) in all directions;also consider initial evacuation for 800 meters (1/2 mile) in all directions.
For massive fire in cargoarea, use unmanned hose holder or monitor nozzles, if possible. If not, withdraw and let fire burnout. In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Use standard firefighting proceduresand consider the hazards of other involved materials. Move containers from fire area if you can doso without risk. Water runoff can cause environmental fightingequipment/instructionsUse standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials. Movecontainer from fire area if it can be done without risk. In the event of fire and/or explosion do notbreathe methodsExtremely flammable fire hazards2 / 9 Material name: LPS presolve (Aerosol)01420 Version #: 04 Revision date: 05-18-2017 Issue date: 09-15-2015 SDS US6.
Accidental release measuresConsider initial downwind evacuation for at least 500 meters (1/3 mile). Keep unnecessarypersonnel away. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Keep out of low areas. Eliminateall ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks, or flames in immediate area). Wear appropriatepersonal protective equipment. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unlesswearing appropriate protective clothing. Avoid inhalation of vapors or mists. Ventilate closedspaces before entering them. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot becontained. Use personal protection recommended in Section 8 of the precautions, protective equipment andemergency proceduresEliminate all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks, or flames in immediate area).
Takeprecautionary measures against static discharge. Use only non-sparking tools. Keep combustibles(wood, paper, oil, etc.) away from spilled material. This material is classified as a water pollutantunder the Clean Water Act and should be prevented from contaminating soil or from enteringsewage and drainage systems which lead to Spills: Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Dike the spilled material, where this ispossible. Cover with plastic SHEET to prevent spreading. Use a non-combustible material likevermiculite, sand or earth to soak up the product and place into a container for later disposal. Usewater spray to reduce vapors or divert vapor cloud drift. Following product recovery, flush area Spills: Wipe up with absorbent material ( cloth, fleece).
Clean surface thoroughly toremove residual return spills in original containers for re-use. For waste disposal, see section 13 of the and materials forcontainment and cleaning upAvoid release to the environment. Contact local authorities in case of spillage to drain/aquaticenvironment. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Avoid discharge into drains, watercourses or onto the precautions7. Handling and storageDo not handle, store or open near an open flame, sources of heat or sources of ignition. Protectmaterial from direct sunlight. Do not smoke. Take precautionary measures against staticdischarges. All equipment used when handling the product must be grounded. Use non-sparkingtools and explosion-proof equipment.
