8 CECILE SICARI ERIKA SPADACCINI DONNA SPINA GLORIA & RONALD THOMAS NORMAN TRASS ISABEL VITELLARO KATHY WHELAN DOT WILLIAMS The Most Holy Trinity Page Three Letter from the Pastor Dear Parishioners: In the name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit. We say it and pray it without thinking, almost second nature. Yet, it is the greatest of mysteries and the most profound profession of faith. There are three persons in one God. It is in the name of that one God that we do all things. Today, as we celebrate the feast of The Most Holy Trinity, we recall the wonder and goodness of God as we ponder the mystery of God s very self.
9 As May comes to a close we look towards the summer months ahead. We will be celebrating graduations, weddings, ordinations, trips to the beach and the chance to rest and relax with family and friends. There are lots of pretty flowers blooming and we need to stop once in a while and take in their beauty. We need to thank God for the gentle side of life and focus on the warmth and peace that is possible. We need to get off our computers and cell phones and have some human contact with the people we love. We need to disconnect so that we can reconnect. What ever you do, let it be done: In the name of The Father and of The son and of the Holy Spirit.
10 Amen. With Love, Fr. Sam Reviving an Ancient Custom for Corpus Christi On Sunday June 7, we will celebrate the Feast of the Body and Blood of the Lord with a traditional Corpus Christi Procession and Benediction following the 11:30 AM Mass. This beautiful custom reaffirms our faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eu-charist. Taiz Prayer for the Feast of the Sacred Heart Friday, June 12 is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We will celebrate Taiz Prayer at 7:30 pm in the Church. Light refreshments to follow. Father s Day Cards The cards for our annual Father s Day Novena are available at the entrances of the church. Please print the necessary information on the outside enve-lope and return it to the church.
