GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY All classes run in accordance with BE Rules It is the responsibility of all competitors to ensure that their tack and dress are current in accordance with the Rules. Hats must be worn that conform to PAS015 (1998 or 2011); VG1 2014-12; ASTM F1163: 2004a, Snell 2001 or 2016 AS/NZS 3838 2006 and which displays the BSI Kite Mark or SEI, fastened correctly at all times when mounted. Cross Country Protective Headwear is a Jockey Skull of an even round or elliptical shape with a smooth or slightly abrasive surface, having no peak or peak type extensions. Noticeable protuberances above the eyes or to the front not greater than 5mm, smooth and rounded in nature are permitted. It must also comply with the Protective Headwear criteria and be tagged as set out above. A removable hat cover with a light flexible peak may be used.

2 A cover shall be worn for show jumping which is either dark blue or black An effective body protector must be worn for the Cross Country phase and is highly recommended for the Show Jumping phase Please note that earrings, studs or other body jewellery must not be worn Medical Armbands are compulsory for the Cross-Country phase The Judges decision is final Any objections or complaints must be made in writing and handed to the Secretary within 15 minutes of the result being posted on the Scoreboard Entries will not accepted without the correct fee, the Organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry to, alter, merge or cancel classes at their discretion No Horse may compete under four years of age No Horse may be ridden more than once on the day of the competition Refunds No Refund of entry money after the Closing Date unless a Vet s or Doctor s Certificate is produced.

3 In this event of a refund a fee will be retained to cover administration costs. Replacements will be accepted. Elimination After three refusals at any one fence the competitor will be eliminated. Depending on the ground conditions and individual circumstances the rider may continue to the next fence but must not in anyway impede other competitors. If refusals continue at following fences the Rider will be asked to leave the Course. Cancellation The Organisers reserve the right to cancel should the weather or ground conditions are unsuitable. Insurance Each competitor must carry their own insurance liability, whether Pony Club, Riding Club, BHS, BE or independent cover Litter & Horse Manure Please take away your litter and please do not clean out your boxes in the field, thank you.

4 Dogs welcome but must be kept on leads at all times and dog mess picked. Please do not leave it for us to remove. HEALTH AND SAFETY The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure that Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take responsible precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers, all Officials and Stewards. Additionally those attending this Event must report any accidents to the Secretary or Organiser of the Event.
