2 In the case of recommended Service Bulletins, HBC feels the changes,modifications, improvements or inspections will benefit the owner/operator and althoughhighly recommended, Recommended Service Bulletins are not considered mandatory at thetime of issuance. In the case of Optional Service Bulletins, compliance with the changes,modifications, improvements or inspections is at the owner/operator's classes are available on the web at and mailed to:(a)Owners of record on the FAA Aircraft Registration Branch List and the HBCS afety of Flight Information (SOFI) List.(b)Those having a publications on Safety of Flight Information (SOFI) or subscription can be obtained throughthe Hawker beechcraft Corporation Technical Manual Distribution Center (TMDC). AsMandatory Service Bulletins and Service Bulletins are issued, the Service Bulletin MasterIndex will be updated and available online at Warrantywill be allowed only when specifically defined in the Service Bulletin and in accordance withHBC Warranty otherwise designated, HBC Mandatory Service Bulletins, Service Bulletins and HBCKits are approved for installation on HBC airplanes in original or HBC modified configurationsonly.

If the original issue of this Service Bulletin has beencomplied with, no further action is required. This Service Bulletin is produced in the revised Hawker BeechcraftCorporation (HBC) format. Accomplishment InstructionsThis Service Bulletin shall be accomplished as follows:NOTES hould any difficulty be encountered in accomplishing this Service Bulletin,contact Hawker beechcraft Corporation at 1-800-429-5372 or 316-676-3140. Observe all Warnings and Cautions contained in the airplane manualsreferenced in this Service any part of this system is dismantled, adjusted, repaired orrenewed, detailed investigation must be made on completion to make surethat distortion, tools, rags or any other loose articles or foreign matter thatcould impede the free movement and safe operation of the system are notpresent, and that the systems and installations in the work area are Airplane(1) Secure airplane for maintenance and display warning notices.(2) Remove the cover located on the pilot s shoulder harness guide and remove the bolt to gain accessto the washer shown in Figure 1, View A.

8 (3) There are two acceptable steel washers for this installation. Check the washer with a magnet toensure that it is made of steel. Refer to Figure 2 to determine if the washer installed is one of thosetwo washers. If it falls within the tolerances for inner and outer diameter and thickness shown inFigure 2, proceed to Step 5.(4) If the washer is not steel or does not fall within the tolerances for inner and outer diameter andthickness shown in Figure 2, replace it with a P/N 100951X060YA washer.(5) Reassemble as shown in Figure 1, View A, and tighten the bolt to 50 to 70 inch-pounds of torque.(6) Install the cover removed in Step 2. Make sure that the shoulder harness guide is free to swivel. Itmay be necessary to trim the cover on the copilot s side in order to clear the leather covered seal(gimp).
