Transcription of SEALER 300 W - Galvanoteknik
1/3 s e a l e r 300 w PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Transparent liquid. DESCRIPTION: SEALER 300 W is a water dilutable , inorganic, sealing system based on silicium which is used for dip/spin, dip/drain and spray application of metal work pieces. SEALER 300 W contains no chromates in the dry film and does not produce hydrogen embrittlement into the coated material. SEALER 300 W is an inorganic sealing system which reacts with all our passivations and chromates on top of zinc or zinc alloys. Corrosion protection of 240 hours in salt spray test according to DIN 50021-SS or ASTM B 117 without iron corrosion are achievable in combination with deposits mentioned above. SEALER 300 W achieves optimal results at a coating thickness between 0,5 - 3 microns and is used on fasteners like bolts, screws, nuts, springs, clamps, stampings etc.
CORROSION PROTECTION: Up to hours on top of Zinc/Nickel plus our passivations or chromates. Up to 700 hours on top of Zinc/Iron or Zinc/Cobalt plus our passivations or chromates. Up to 500 hours on top of Zinc, plus our passivations or chromates. DELIVERY CONDITIONS: Viscosity 20 +/- 3 sec. GUARANTEE: Above instructions and recommendations are the result of intensive testing and shop experiences. They are for your information, only. Our guarantee extends to the continuous quality of our products as they leave our factory and not to their usage in the field, which is a factor beyond the control of a supplier.
Rev 3/3 DETERMINATION OF SOLID CONTENT OF SEALER 300 W DESCRIPTION OF TESTMETHOD: At all times a double weight determination has to be done. The determination of the solid content of the SEALER 300 W has to be done at a temperature of 180 C for 30 minutes in a oven. Required Equipment: Analytical balance 0,001 g sensitivity. Oven to work at 180 C +/- 5 C. Petri capsule 20 cm surface, appr. diameter of 50 mm. Dessicator Test method: Adjust the balance to zero. Check the weight of the Petri capsule. Weight an amount of 1 5 g of SEALER 300 W onto the Petri capsule. (The value of the weight should be determined with accuracy) Put the Petri capsule with the SEALER 300 W directly into the oven at 180 C 30 minutes. Transfer the capsule to the dessicator and let it cool down until it reaches 20 25 C.
Weight the capsule with the dry extract correctly. Calculation: Weight of extract of SEALER 300 W _____ x 100 x factor Weight of SEALER 300 W Factor = 6,25
