Note: A coax splitter should be used if this cable outlet will be shared with a modem for Internet or Voice service. Make sure the batteries are facing the correct direction. Note: If you have additional receivers, repeat steps A through cableHDMI cablepower cableeletrical outletcable outletTVHDMI cablecoax cableback of Spectrum Receiverpower cablecoax splitter(may be needed)STEP 2 Update ReceiverA Using the included remote, turn on the Turn on your TV, and then select the HDMI source for the Receiver using INPUT or SOURCE on your TV or TV The Receiver will automatically start downloading a firmware upgrade, which takes about six minutes.

2 Important: To avoid activation issues, make sure the upgrade is complete before moving on to the next step.
