SB 1847 *Watson, Gardenhire (HB 1844 by *Baum) Holidays and Days of Special Observance- As introduced, designates the month of October annually as "Economic Education Month." - Amends TCA Title 15, Chapter 2. 2. SB 1670 *Gardenhire (HB 2341 by *Carringer) Local Education Agencies- As introduced, requires that all school personnel, instead of only teachers, be trained at least once every three years on the detection, intervention, prevention, and treatment of human trafficking in which the victim is a child. - Amends TCA Title 49. 3. SB 1679 *Gardenhire (HB 1710 by *Haston) Local Education Agencies- As introduced, requires county and municipal legislative bodies to fix the compensation for members of their respective school boards at a level that is no less than the level at which the members of the respective legislative body are compensated; requires the compensation for members of boards of education of special school districts to be set at a level that is no less than the level at which members of the county legislative body of the county in which the special school district lies are compensated.
