2 This is awork experience program designed to upgrade job skillsthrough on-the-job training and eventual placement in thecompetitive labor participants develop job-related skills, the communitydirectly benefits from the work they perform in bothpublic and private nonprofit agencies. Participants earnminimum wage while engaged in part-time work experiencetraining Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) contracts withCareers@Work, a division of Jewish Family & Career Services,to administer the state-funded SCSEP positions. State andnational contractors in the Atlanta region and the employers jobline are listed below:Web Resources regarding agingprograms and services currently available; a new senioremployment component is under construction.
