Thank You God B less and Vivat Jesus, Arnold (Tex) Mohring. Financial Secretary Pro -Life Director November 2018 Mercy Triumphs The Church opposes abortion, but embraces with mercy those who have made this mistake. Let s all take encouragement from these words of Pope John Paul II: I would now like to say a special word to women who have had an abortion. The Church is aware of the many factors which may have influenced your decision, and she does not doubt that in many cases it was a painful and even shattering decision.

8 The wound in your heart may not yet have healed. Certainly what happened was and remains terribly wrong. But do not give in to discouragement and do not lose hope. Try rather to understand what happened and face it honestly. If you have not already done so, give yourselves over with humility and trust to repentance. The Father of mercies is ready to give you his forgiveness and his peace in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. To the same Father and to his mercy you can with sure hope entrust your child. (The Gospel of Life, #99). Jim Cafferky, Pro-Life Chairman Vote Pro-Life - The soul you save may be your own. WCCC News November 2018 Washington County columbus Club To al l our Veterans and active Military Personnel Thank you and enjoy Veterans Day!

9 It s November and that time of year The Hall goes through the process of renewing the various licenses for the building. So far we are on target to have our licenses renewed with little or no ll see. Just so you know, some of the pieces of our operations that come under review are fire suppression system (both in the hall and kitchen), our water system to include septic, liquor servers, insurance binder, taxes, department of health certificate, litter control and a couple others. We are fortunate to have members who assist in putting all these pieces together. The other important piece to meeting these obligations is is where we all can help.

10 Please refer the hall to anyone you may know looking for that location to hold a function. Our rentals have increase, but we are always looking to fill-in a few more dates. Don t forget to review the knights and WCCC Calendar for the list of activities and functions scheduled to take place at our columbus Hall. Information on rentals can be made by contacting the hall at (401) 295 0507, or reach out to one of our many knights . WCCC MEEETINGS: Last Tuesday of every month (see calendar). Be a part of what is planned for your Council Hall. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your it s just around the corner. Thomas J. Mulligan WCC President Around and About
