1 Shibori & Indigo Dyeing Classes held at my studio in Graham, TexasThese Classes will be held at my home studio with limited enrollment due to space. We work indoors and outdoors. If the weather cooperates we will mainly be outside where we can dye and hang things on the clothes line. If the weather is cranky we will work in the studio and driveway. There will be one day and three day Classes . The Classes will start at 9:30 and end around 4:30 with about a 45 minute break for lunch, which will be provided each day. Lunch will be simple soups, salads, fruits and small desserts. I will provide coffee, tea and bottled water. I can accommodate vegetarian and gluten free diets, just let me know ahead of time.

2 Schedule for the three day class: Each day will build on the previous day. Day One:Brief explanation of Shibori and Indigo of different kinds of Indigo vats; natural, synthetic and of a pre-reduced Indigo of Itajime Shibori and demonstrations of folding and clamping the will then fold and clamp fabric to dye. I will also demo some marble wrapping and other fun techniques. The rest of the day will be spent working with the fabrics and Dyeing . At the end of the day I will explain the techniques for finishing the fabric . Day Two:Short review of the previous day. Brief explanation of Arashi Shibori and demos on more than one way to fold and wrap the fabrics on a pole for unique explanation and demo on simple stitching the day doing any of the techniques learned so far.

3 I will demo more advanced techniques for folding, wrapping, stitching to resisting the dye. Cost:One day Classes : $125 Three day Classes : $325 The cost of the class includes lunch and snacks, use of all my tools and equipment, use of three different Indigo vats and as much knowledge as you can get from me. Each day will also include either:2 silk scarves or 1 1/4 yards of cotton prepared for Dyeing fabric or 4 cotton napkins or 4 cotton tea towels. I will work with you on mixing and matching these items if you want. I will have extras of all these items for will also have rayon, linen and cotton/linen blends fabrics for register for the Classes there will be $50 nonrefundable deposit.

4 The class must be paid in full by a specified date with no refunds after that has a Holiday Inn Express and a Best Western Plus with rooms available from $ may register by sending me an email with the request. One Day Class:In the one day class I cover everything that is covered in the first day of a three day will also teach the Arashi pole wrapping and some stitching as time allows.

5 At the end of the day I will explain the techniques for finishing the fabric .
