4 License Requirements . The board shall issue a license to practice clinical Social work to a person who: has received a master s degree or a doctoral degree in Social work from a college or university, approved by the board; has completed, within the 10 years before application for Licensure and under the supervision of a licensed Social worker, licensed psychologist or licensed psychiatrist either o a minimum of two years of continuous full-time employment in postgraduate clinical Social work; or o a minimum of 3,000 hours of less than full-time employment in a period of not less than two years in postgraduate Social work is of good moral character; is in good professional standing and is fit to practice Social work as determined by the board.

5 (5) has provided three professional references that are acceptable to the board, including, if the applicant o was previously employed to practice Social work, one reference from a person who was the applicant s employer while practicing Social work unless the applicant demonstrates to the satisfaction of the board that the applicant is unable to satisfy the requirement of this subparagraph through no fault of the applicant; and o is currently employed to practice Social work, a reference from the applicant s current employer; has satisfactorily completed the examination given by the board for Social worker licensing; and has paid required fees.

8 Supervision A person who wishes to be licensed by the board to engage in the practice of Social work as a licensed baccalaureate Social worker shall: o Furnish documentation as prescribed by the board by rule that the person has earned a baccalaureate degree in Social work from a regionally accredited college or university in a program accredited by the council on Social work education or a degree from a foreign school based on a program of study that the board determines is substantially equivalent. o Pass an examination approved by the board.

9 A licensed baccalaureate Social worker shall only engage in clinical practice under direct supervision as prescribed by the board. 32-3292. Licensed master Social worker; Licensure ; qualifications; supervision A person who wishes to be licensed by the board to engage in the practice of Social work as a licensed master Social worker shall: o Furnish documentation satisfactory to the board that the person has earned a master's or higher degree in Social work from a regionally accredited college or university in a program accredited by the council on Social work education or a degree from a foreign school based on a program of study that the board determines is substantially equivalent.

10 O Pass an examination approved by the board. A licensed master Social worker shall only engage in clinical practice under direct supervision as prescribed by the board 32-3293. Licensed clinical Social worker; Licensure ; qualifications A person who wishes to be licensed by the board to engage in the practice of Social work as a licensed clinical Social worker shall: 1. Furnish documentation as prescribed by the board by rule that the person has: o Earned a master's or higher degree in Social work from a regionally accredited college or university in a program accredited by the council on Social work education or a degree from a foreign school based on a program of study that the board determines is substantially equivalent.
