MARYS OHIO BOX 6:10-13 Finally, my brethren,be strong in the Lord, and in the power of hismight. 11. Put on the whole armor of God,that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of thedevil. 12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, againstpowers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against SPIRITUAL wickedness inhigh places.

13. Wherefore take unto you thewhole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstandin the evil day, and having done all, to tells us that he has given to us armor and that we are to stand against Satan. There isa WARFARE and anyone who has been a Christian for any length of time, has experiencedspiritual WARFARE to one degree or another. His Majesty, the Lord Jesus Christ defeatedSatan for us but that victory must be applied in our every day Christian living. Not onlydo we wrestle against SPIRITUAL forces but also with our very a triune being, spirit-soul and body ( 1 Thessalonians 5:23 ) it s in our spirit that weare born-again, when we accept Christ as our Savior a regeneration takes place in ourspirit.

( Titus 3:5 ) From the moment that we get saved ( born-again ) there is a strugglethat takes place within us, between our spirit-soul and body. Christians who walk in theflesh ( that part of us that stems from our soul and the senses of our bodies ) live in defeatand never come into the realities of all that Christ accomplished for a Christian to apply the Victory that Christ obtained for us and to stand against sin,the world, self and Satan: he or shemustknow, must realize certain things; such as: aChristian is a child of God, a joint-heir with Christ, a new creature, a citizen of heaven, astranger and pilgrim here on earth, with a mission to win the lost, there is a WARFARE , thereis an enemy, there are weapons, to name a few.

Our Lord Jesus resisted Satan from hisstand as the Son of God. It s my prayer that this Study course will shed some light on thedifferent elements of our Christian illustration:For a soldierto engage in combat he must know that he is acitizen of his country, amember of an elite group, understand and be familiar with his weapons, know his enemy, don t fraternize with the enemy, don t get too comfortable in a foreign land realize it isnot his true home for BattleContents of the CourseSection A. 7 Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 3. Present their Bodies Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God' Seek the things of God Matthew6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Colossians 3:1-4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ sitteth onthe right hand of God. 2. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in 5. Is a Citizen of HeavenPhilippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; (NAS) Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 6.

Is a Pilgrim here on Earth 1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 7. Is a Disciple of Jesus Christ John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; The cost of Discipleship Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Luke 14:26 Anyone whowants to be my follower must love me far more than he does his own father, mother, wife , children, brothers, or sisters--yes, more than his own life--otherwise he cannot be my disciple. In order for him to be our Mediator, he had to become our High Priest, a Priest that knew what it felt like to suffer the temptations of the flesh and Satan, yet without sin.
