Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees include specific coursework along with a core of general education courses in English, mathematics, science, social sciences and humanities. Many students enter the workforce with associate degrees. Others choose to work with a counselor to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor's degree either by using articulation agreements between CCAC and nearly 30 other universities or by using certain degrees designed as templates for specialized programs.
