1 STATE OF NEVADA BOARD OF VETERINARY MEDICAL examiners *PUBLIC NOTICE* AGENDA The NEVADA STATE BOARD of VETERINARY MEDICAL examiners will conduct a BOARD meeting on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 8:30 AM and will continue until the BOARD concludes its business at the following location: Airport Plaza Hotel & Conference Center Second Floor 1981 Terminal Way RENO, NEVADA 89502 Please note: The BOARD of VETERINARY MEDICAL examiners may address agenda items out of sequence to accommodate persons appearing before the BOARD or to aid the efficiency and effectiveness of the meeting; The BOARD of VETERINARY MEDICAL examiners may combine two or more agenda items for consideration; The BOARD of VETERINARY MEDICAL examiners may remove an item from the agenda or delay discussion relating to an item on the agenda at any time.

2 Public comment is welcomed by the BOARD , but will be heard only when that item on the agenda is reached and will be limited to five minutes per person. The President may allow additional time to a given speaker as time allows and at his sole discretion. Prior to the commencement and conclusion of a contested case or a quasi-judicial proceeding that may affect the due process rights of an individual, the BOARD may refuse to consider public comment. See NRS Please be aware that after the quasi-judicial BOARD or commission had rendered a decision in the contested case and assuming this happens before adjournment, then the BOARD or commission may entertain public comment on the proceeding at that time.

Financial Report: The Executive Director will present the quarterly budget for the BOARD s consideration and approval. B. Hospital Inspection Report: The Licensing Specialist will present a summary of hospital inspection data for the preceding quarter. C. Administrative Report: The Licensing Specialist will present the numbers of licenses and application process in the preceding quarter. D. Legislative Update: The Executive Director or BOARD lobbyist will review any pending or future regulatory items for the BOARD s consideration and discuss topics pertaining to the legislative process.
