Special thanks to the committee who work hard to supply our uniform which is practical, smart and affordable.

To ensure we maintain the standard and appearance of our uniform and (probably more importantly) stop peer pressure and the expense this can cause, can you please support your child, other parents, the uniform volunteers and staff by following the policy - by not following this is putting pressure on areas to watch:Girls - White socks - knee high or crew (not sockettes) - Black leather (or leather -like) shoes or navy - Black leather (or leather-like) lace up shoes or elastic sided boots or brown sandals. No canvas lace-ups or coloured visible uniforms: - White socks - no logos - Predominately white sport shoes and white for your uniforms to be worn on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.

NOTE: Thanks to our parent volunteers, the Uniform Shop will be open each Wednesday morning from 8:30am to 8:50am. Alternatively, you can order via the QKR! Ice-blocks will be available for sale at lunchtimes (Mon-Thurs) during Terms 1 & 4. Cost: 30c ea limit of 1 per child. Please talk to your child about these being a treat, not an expectation. VOLuNTEERING We welcome parents to volunteer in many ways from listening to children read in the classroom or assisting on excursions to canteen, uniform shop and fundraising activities.

Please ensure you complete a Police Check if you wish to volunteer. Forms are available from the Front Office. It is a requirement by Catholic Education that people working with children have a current Police check. CAR PARkING We are currently in the process of having our Master Plan approved by Catholic Education. The plan is designed to improve our School site and will include additional parking and a kiss and drop zone. In the meantime, we are aware that parking is limited around the School and ask that you abide by road rules and parking regulations.

Our local police have noted many cars have been parking across yellow lines and on corners. Warning notices were issued but they have advised that they will be monitoring the situation and will not be so lenient next time. Above all, safety of our students is 7s AT ST JOSEPHSWith the return to School there has been comments circulating in certain areas of the media, regarding Catholic Schools transitioning their Year 7 students into secondary sites (I assure you that CESA, Catholic Education , has the current policy that states, If there is no Catholic Secondary pathway Year 7s will stay at the primary site.)
