Both < Strong >AircraftStrong > made their international debuts at the show , being displayed in the static exhibit area near the United Technologies Corp. chalet for the first < Strong >AircraftStrong > Corp. issued a number of announcements during the weeklong show including four signings by < Strong >SikorskyStrong > Aerospace Services (SAS), the aftermarket support division of < Strong >SikorskyStrong > < Strong >AircraftStrong > .

2 SAS conducted the following ceremonial signings with: RUAG Aviation, to designate its Alpnach helicopter facility in Switzerland as an authorized Customer Service Center to support the < Strong >SikorskyStrong > S-76 helicopter platform. Rheinmetall Defence Electronics, to provide long-term training and logistics support to the German armed forces should the Government of Germany select the MH148 CYCLONE multi-mission helicopter for its naval rotorcraft needs. Saab, a Swedish defense and security company, to support the fleet of 15 UH-60M helicopters recently purchased by the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration.

5 Announced that China Southern Airlines Company s Zhuhai Helicopter Branch has contracted for a S-76C++ and two S-92 helicopters to support the company s offshore oil customers operating in the South China Sea. Zhuhai is the largest and oldest operator of < Strong >SikorskyStrong > helicopters in China, having used < Strong >SikorskyStrong > < Strong >AircraftStrong > since 1984 to transport oil workers for such companies as China National Offshore Oil Corp., ExxonMobil, and Phillips. When the newly ordered < Strong >AircraftStrong > are delivered starting in September, Zhuhai s fleet will include 13 S-76 and three S-92 helicopters.

6 Zhuhai is the largest and oldest operator of < Strong >SikorskyStrong > helicopters in < Strong >SikorskyStrong > < Strong >AircraftStrong > Corp. has announced an agreement to sell an S-92 and two S-76 C++ helicopters to the Milestone Aviation Group, a global finance company that purchases and leases helicopters to high quality helicopter operators. All three < Strong >AircraftStrong > are scheduled for delivery this year, starting in the third December 2010, Milestone Aviation purchased five S-76C++ helicopters, which can serve many roles such as offshore oil worker transport, VIP transport including Head of State, air ambulance, search and rescue, and civil defense.

7 < Strong >SikorskyStrong > is now transitioning to the next model in the highly successful S-76 < Strong >AircraftStrong > line, the S-76D helicopter, which has entered production. Our most recent purchase is further testament to the quality of the < Strong >SikorskyStrong > product line. Demand for these machines is extraordinary, so they will quickly be in the field doing mission-critical or utility work with operators in oil and gas, EMS or Search and Rescue sectors, said Richard Santulli, Chairman of Milestone. 9 LORD Corp. and Derco Aerospace Sign Exclusive Distribution Agreementwill be produced for the Canadian Forces. It is derived from the < Strong >SikorskyStrong > S-92 search and rescue helicopter, and is a multi-mission < Strong >AircraftStrong > that addresses the full range of maritime missions including anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASuW), search and rescue (SAR), and utility missions. The S-70i black HAWK helicopter on display in paris was built at PZL Mielec, < Strong >SikorskyStrong > < Strong >AircraftStrong > s facility in Poland. The paris Air show marked the first time the new variant of < Strong >SikorskyStrong > s proven multi-mission utility helicopter was displayed to the world market.
