1 NSC/FIN/ Insurance /2015-16 Date: The Concerned Official ..General Insurance Company Subject: Bids for Property Insurance (Fire and Burglary Cover) for the Insurance Period 2015-16. Sir/Madam, NSC invites an offer for Insurance of its Stocks and Fixed Assets in its own/hired godown, Regional Offices and Head Office throughout India based on the following data/information: 1. List of Warehouses (owned, Hired) is attached along with the list of Regional Offices, Area Offices Including Head Office. The list of agricultural farms including godowns/offices in each farm is also attached. Please note that we can add/delete any Property during the year which will be timely notified to the Insurance Company.

Inventory includes raw seed, non-seed, low grade/under sized seed, certified seed, breeder seeds, foundation seeds, truthful level seed, packing material, certification material, treatment material, chemicals, spare parts consumable & other item required for processing of the seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, diesel and other inputs required at farm will be categorised under Stocks . Please note any other item not mentioned specifically herewith but pertaining to the insured's trade is also deemed to be covered. 3. Insurance Companies have to quote for three different policies. Standard Fire and Special Perils Policy for Fixed Assets, Fire policy and Burglary Policy for Stocks on Floater basis.

3 4. All Insurance companies have to quote with Earthquake and STFI as Add-ons in both the Fire Policies. Burglary has to be issued with Theft and RSMD. extension with 100% Loss Limit. 5. Sum Insured is mentioned in the Quote sheet format. Insurance companies have to quote only in the format given. No other format will be acceptable. Please note that all columns need to be duly filled by the Insurance Company. Incomplete Schedule of Rates (SOR) in any manner shall lead to disqualification of the bidder. 6. Stocks are defined as Category-1 hazardous goods as per All India Fire Tariff . 7. Excess for Standard Fire and Special Perils policy will be as per tariff.

4 In case of burglary, excess should read as 5% of the claim amount subject to a minimum of Rs 25,000/-. -1- 8. Policy period will be for one year 27th July, 2015 to 26th July, 2016. 9. There has been NIL Claims in the past 5 years. 10. The management reserves the right for co- Insurance as regards the same shall be done at the time of opening of the bids. 11. Quotation is to be submitted in sealed covers addressed to undersigned must reach latest by (upto 02:00 pm). The quotation is to be submitted in the formats enclosed as per Annexure-B.
