1 Subject : objectionRecipient: 25/04/2016 12:28 PMI am writing to express my objection to the proposal before Parliament to give water rights and control to abuses to Maori have been addressed through the Waitangi Tribunal and allowed iwi to have the opportunityto invest on behalf of their people and sponsor initiatives to provide opportunities for their people which is great. Ibelieve it has been a just and fair deal. However, this is a different ball game. Water is there for all New Zealandersas part of our heritage and stewardship of this land, not to be divvied up for specific interest groups.

2 At a timewhen water is becoming a valuable commodity like gold, so there will be greedy predators hoping to takeadvantage of any opportunity for profit and gain. It must not happen. It must be preserved and protected byresponsible Government for the people, on behalf of whom the Government is called to act. Please listen to usbefore it is too late.
