Decoding pirate s maps, scavenger hunting for buried treasure, staging mock bottles, designing costumes replete with parrots, spyglasses, and eye patches, singing chanties of the raging seas- you name it, and we ll do it as we race to the Barbary Coast and return home with tales of mighty exploits! SESSION II: June 17 - 21 Go GreenHere s a win-win camp for like-minded kids that ll make mother nature proud! Go Green camp days begin with entertaining, age-appropriate eco-friendly lessons on ways to help keep the Earth green. Campers explore the natural environment and engage in activities in the sciences and arts that reinforce each day s message such as planting trees, making art with recycled materials, or coming up with new ways to do everyday things that teach sustainability in a manner that just plain makes sense.

SESSION II1: June 24 - 28 Where the Wild Things AreUnleash your child s inner monster and let the wild rumpus begin! Guided mischief of one kind or another will be featured as we sail through each day exploring nature, taming wild critters, performing magic tricks, and playing games inspired by Max, King of the Beasts. If there s one guarantee to this camp, no one will be sent to his room for being naughty! Dreamers and kids with excess imagination need apply! SESSION 1V: July 1 - 5 (closed on July 4)Holiday HullabalooWhat s your favorite Holiday? It matters not! Come all ye faithful because we ve got all the big ones wrapped into one fantastic week. Celebrate them all Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and, of course, Christmas, with age-appropriate, guided activities that are sure to bring smiles and feelings of friendship, renewal, suspense, gratitude, and charity (but in a fun way, of course!)

3 SESSION V: July 8 - 12 Under the SeaAnyone for a game of sharks and minnows? Want to make a Soctopus? Feel like challenging Neptune? Mermaids, shells, fish, whales and did we mention SHARKS abound as we explore life under the sea through nature and craft projects, storytelling, skits, and friendly competitions. Of course, no Under the Sea week would be complete without some wet, wild, and wacky water games as we ll find plenty of ways to beat the Summer heat. Here s one siren s song you ll be glad you heeded! We ll spend our days reveling in all that is good about life in the Northern Neck- from catching and cooking blue crabs to picking berries and baking wildberry pie.

4 Honest-to-goodness Lancaster County outdoor adventure abounds as we explore the banks, marshes, meadows, forests, farms, and waters of our beautiful tidal region along with the critters and farm animals that inhabit it. Say Yes to the Mess Afternoons This is the quintessential arts and crafts camp- a literal hodgepodge of activities and mediums that include crayons, pottery, bamboo, cloth, clay, duct the sky is the limit. We ll use all the good crafty verbs guaranteed to inspire: blending, carving, molding, sculpting, pasting, fun! Neat nicks need not apply!SESSION I1: June 17 - 21 Have a Ball, Just Add H20 MorningsTake wacky, wet, watery fun and insert ball. That s the basic formula. Whether it be badminton in the swimming pool, water polo on the slippy slide, water balloon fights on Carter s while we want to leave some to your child s imagination, just know that this week will be filled with guided watery play and friendly competitions sure to build strong bodies and healthy minds.

5 Myth Busters AfternoonsGot a curious kid? Send em here. We LOVE questions! Any questions. Can you get a smooth ride from square wheels? Do dogs really sweat through their tongues? Does an inchworm grow back if cut in half? Did the Vikings really have horns on their helmets? This is the place to where myths are tested under safe, supervised indoor and outdoor lab conditions using tried and true investigative methods. Will your kid be bored? Busted. Will they come to think scientists are heros? Plausible. Will they come home happy? Confirmed. SESSION I1I: June 24 - 28 EATZ Mornings With an ode to Good Eats, America s Test Kitchen, Cupcake Wars, and Iron Chef, we ll don non-celebrity personas and blissfully bake, cheerfully chop, playfully pour, and wistfully whip our way through a combination of ingredients to delight anyone s pallet.

During the week of this basic kayaking camp, we ll learn safety and a little navigation, how to handle boat wakes and safely recover if you capsize, forward and back stroking, and then, yahoo, we ll take our skills and navigate the tidal shallows and intimate coves of Carter s Creek.
