Moderator s Appeal - Cyclone Idai recently swept through southern Africa and has caused severe flooding and major devastation in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe. million people have been affected and hundreds killed. Homes, roads and bridges have been destroyed and large areas of farm land submerged by flood waters. Hundreds of thousands of survivors are now in urgent need of humanitarian assistance. Please pray and give generously - that we may play our part in saving lives and restoring hope to the many who face this catastrophic situation. There will be the opportunity to give to this appeal today and next SUNDAY .

We have 6 bookings; dates and times will be available on the evening so why not come along without obligation to see how you can help. Friday - Over 16 s Bible Study catch-up - we will be meeting at the Three Kings in Portstewart for coffee at 7 pm.

NEXT SUNDAY Easter SUNDAY morning dawn service - 7 am at Harbison s Farm, Ballydevitt Road followed by breakfast in the Church Hall. Everyone most welcome. Meeting for Prayer - 10 am. 6 The training will address the need for policies, guidelines and procedures in keeping children safe within church youth organisations. The training will also instruct leaders, on a step-by-step basis, how to deal with, and report, an incident or concern relating to a child or young person. If anyone has any queries please speak to Mary Marshall. The congregation are reminded to clear their pews of any personal belongings before the end of the month. POINTS FOR PRAYER - CONGREGATION Pray for our young people, as they face pressure to conform. Ask God to draw them to trust and follow Christ for themselves and to deepen their faith so that they might be enabled to stand firm when their faith is tested.

7 Pray for the leaders of the Grid as they communicate solid Biblical truth in a relaxed and relevant way. Pray for our Youth Worker, Ryan Dennison as he supports our volunteer leaders and builds pastoral relationships with our young people. Pray that God will mightily use Ryan in the building of the Kingdom of God among us. Ask God to bless Ryan s personal walk with Him and pray for strength and wisdom for Ryan in his work and ministry.
