3 Today we celebrate a central mystery of our faith. Our triune God calls us to be his own and blesses us on our life journey. What impact does this mystery have on your vocation? (Psalm 34) For all Christians that by our baptism in the triune God we may be strengthened in our faith, we pray. READINGS FOR NEXT SUNDAY June 3rd Ex 24:3-8 Heb 9:11-15 Mk 14:12-16, 22-26(168) The Most Holy Trinity MAY 27, 2018 Today we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Trinity . The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are intimately connected to you and to me.

4 The Trinity is also connected intimately to one another. When explaining the Holy Trinity one must keep in mind the mystery of one God in three persons. The revealed truth of the Holy Trinity is at the very root of the Church s living faith as expressed in the Creed. The mystery of the Trinity in itself is inaccessible to the human mind and is the object of faith only because it was revealed by Jesus Christ, the divine Son of the eternal Father (Catechism of the Catholic Church 232, 237,249, 253-256) School is out now so let us enjoy God s creation.

5 This is a perfect time to go on vacation and see what God has made in the world. I encourage the youth and adults to go to weekday mass. It starts at 8am Monday through Saturday. On Wednesday we also have a 6pm mass. The word mass means thanksgiving. So give thanks for all you have by going to weekday mass. That is a good way to start your day and enjoy the summer. If you put God first then he will make sure you see his beauty throughout the day. May is the month of Mary so keep praying that rosary. God bless you all. Fr. Tony Thank you to all the Altar Rosary women and girls who helped to serve meals and clean up for the Baccalaureate luncheon.

6 You did an amazing job and the event went very smooth. Also, thanks to all the seniors and parents for helping take down tables and chairs. Many hands make light work! What a blessing! 10 John s Preschool 7 years ago. What started as a dream became a reality for Carole, her committee members, her teachers, our precious children and for our St. John s Parish family. Carole was the original Preschool Administrator and Teacher and is now stepping down to pursue other professional and personal interests. We deeply appreciate her faithful dedication, many hours of ministry, and generously taking care of the paperwork, all of the needs of our Preschool and all of her help in our parish. Carole, you have been a true asset to your teachers and to all of the little ones over the years.
