Qualifications: Any combination of educa-tion and experience equivalent to a bache-lor's degree in education or a related field with coursework in principles, concepts, and methodologies relevant to program evalua-tion and assessment in an educational envi-ronment, plus five years of progressively more responsible experience in educational program evaluation, some of which shall have been in a leadership capacity. Mas-ter's or doctorate degree preferred. Knowledge of program evaluation, method-ology, advanced statistical techniques, qualitative, and quantitative research meth-ods; knowledge of public education mission, organization, instructional goals, and curric-ulum practices; ability to use computer tech-nology as a tool for research and data anal-ysis; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including communica-tion of technical information; and ability to establish and maintain cooperative relation-ships with other school personnel and other administrators.

3 Superintendent s Office and School-Based Administration Executive Principal (Multiple Openings) US-32 Gatehouse Administration Center 10343BR Description: Serves as a leader in the dep-uty superintendent's organization; can man-age all aspects of instructional, manage-ment, administration, and advocacy, con-sistent with Division goals, policies and pro-cedures. Provides leadership, direction, support, counseling, coaching, and assis-tance to principals and supports an as-signed group of schools and/or centers based on need as identified by the Superin-tendent or his designee. Qualifications: Master's degree in educa-tion.

4 Seven years of progressively more responsible administrative experience in teaching and administration or supervision, with a minimum of four years administrative experience, some at the principal level. Postgraduate Professional License with endorsement in administration and supervi-sion preK-12. Extensive knowledge and application of the preK-12 principles, prac-tices, methods and techniques, of public school administration. Knowledge of re-search and current trends in school turna-round and public school education. Well established record of school turnaround and application of school improvement plans. Ability to coordinate the activities of schools.

Ability to develop effective working relationships with school and department staffs, governmental lead-ers, outside advocacy groups, and commu-nity members. Facilities Management Liaison US-20 Facilities Management, Woodson Complex 10331BR Description: Acts as frontline customer service representative between a mainte-nance, central operations, and/or grounds maintenance facility and the various schools and offices. Primary responsibility involves the oversight and coordination of fire inspections, re-inspections and annual inspection scheduling with the fire marshal s Office , FCPS staff and vendors.

7 Assists with the management of a satellite maintenance facility and personnel. Qualifications: Any combination of educa-tion and experience to a bachelor's degree in business administration, facilities man-agement, or related field, or in a technical filed including fire inspections, plus two years' progressive experience in the over-sight and coordination of fire inspections, one year with oversight or lead responsibili-ties. Knowledge of national, state, county, and school board regulations, directives, and policies and/or codes applicable to functional responsibilities. Knowledge of best practices with respect to customer service.

8 Skill in oral and written communica-tions. Ability to work independently to re-solve conflicts and problems. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with school personnel, peers, subordinates, and the public. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. 9 Thorough knowledge of the theories and practices of architectural design and/or con-struction management and engineering; thorough knowledge of modern construction practices and methods including design, scheduling, and fiscal and technical admin-istration of major construction projects; abil-ity to review and analyze construction plans and specifications; ability to enforce con-tractual specifications; ability to train and supervise subordinates; ability to develop and enforce time-lines for completion of projects; skill in the utilization of computer technology to develop databases; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with county officials, contrac-tors, and the public; and ability to prepare correspondence and reports.

10 Manager, Plant Operations US-24 Facilities Management, Sideburn Support Center 10321BR Description: Assists with the management of plant operations comprised of crews and/or teams of a variety of trades; assists with coordination of activities, personnel and functions of the facility. Qualifications: Any combination of educa-tion and experience equivalent to a bache-lor's degree in business administration, supervision, or in custodial management, plus five years' progressive custodial/plant operations experience, one year with over-sight or supervisory responsibilities. Com-pletion of an acceptable apprentice-level maintenance training program.
