2 But the fall of the Berlin Wall meant the end of his stint with the United States government, and led to a period of with depression and unstable housing led him to seek out Project HOME s VETERANS SERVICES , where he found stability, focus, and a way forward. Vince was eventually able to obtain stable housing and employment, finding his way after years of confusion as to where he belonged. 3 Provides SUPPORTIVE SERVICES and temporary financial assistance to very low-income VETERANS and their families who are at risk of or are currently experiencing homelessness. In 2014, PASSVF helped more than 400 VETERANS and their families find and maintain housing. The PASSVF is a partnership between Project HOME, The VETERANS Multi-Service Center, Impact SERVICES Corporation, and the Homeless Advocacy include:Housing counseling and case managementAssistance in obtaining VA benefits and other public benefitsLegal assistanceCredit repair assistanceTemporary financial assistance, such as rental assistance, utility payment, security deposits, moving costs, emergency supplies, transportation, and child care The Kyle Sampson FamilyExcessive debt and underemployment forced Kyle Sampson, a retired Marine, and his family to take shelter in his mother s home.

4 The Sampsons, having lost their home and struggling to maintain a steady income, turned to SSVF for help. Kyle and SSVF worked together to stablize his family s situation, and within three weeks he and his family were able to move into a new home of their own.
